How I Became a Female Magician

aka How I started magic and how this all happened?! The beginning was an adventurous journey, I tried squeezing into this youtube video as much as I can without creating a documentary of my childhood.. 🙂 I think this video should give you a little sneak peek, and perhaps encourage you to follow whatever your heart desires 🙂

My teacher at the time, Janos Habok was (and my personal opinion, still is) the best sleight of hand performer in Hungary. I was very lucky not to be forced into a “box” and to be given specific instructions on how to do what, but instead leaving blank spaces for me, and therefore allowing me to grow, and discover my own, original style.

PS: The choker I’m wearing in this video it’s coming to the store soon! 😉

You might have seen me on stage wearing this costume, which was one of my first crafty projects when I moved to Vegas. The half silver beads sewn onto the bra are vintage finds and there are large glass beads sewn onto the bottom. I made 4 sets, and each included a feathered head-dress and rhinestone chokers as well.

I find it funny sometimes, how some people can get offended by showgirl costumes. To me, it’s exactly the same as a bathing suit, minus the rhinestones 🙂

I’m not sure if I would ever wear this on stage again, but I loved this photoshoot, brought back lots of fun memories.

PS: I’m wearing a very high quality push-up bra and makeup, therefore, I don’t endorse implants and whatever else girls are injecting into themselves these days.

I am excited to share that a new bracelet style has made it into my store today! I’ve been working on this design for a while now, and I’m happy to finally release this new style! Inspired by the romantic beauty of spring weddings, each of these floral hand pieces are perfect for special days like these, or brunch with the girls, a night out or just to have something delicate to show off while you are out and about! 🙂

The carefully hand sewn fabric feels invisible and comfortable to wear throughout the day.

Currently, 3 different styles of beads are completing these beautiful floral pieces: Czech Glass beads, Japanese Glass and 22 Karat Miyuki Japanese Glass.

A quick note on quality and prices: Japanese beads are carefully hand created, and are amazingly uniform in shape, brilliance and quality (always exceptional). Please don’t confuse them with China or Vietnam made beads, (the kind you will find in most department stores for bargain prices) Those are also beautiful in their own way, but made differently. Cheaper beads can vary in size, and coloring can wear off over time. Japanese Miyuki is the superstar of seed beads, if you ask me. 🙂

When I created this style, I wanted to make sure that it’s not a “one size fits all”! I want every piece to be made for the one who purchased this and to fit snug, no matter how hard the wind blows or how wild you might be dancing, so make sure you “request a custom order” if the available size doesn’t fit you perfectly!

Happy, happy Sunday! It’s time for Sunday Secrets, a Q&A posting where I ask you 7 random questions that we all answer the 7th day of the week! Shout out to @gakwy who is pushing me to continue these posts! The latest Sunday Secret I posted was… I while ago.. so… Let’s go!

1. Greatest moment of my week was…  going to the park and ending up giving my lunch to the birds.. Totally worth it, they seemed more hungry than I was.

2. I wish to have…  more time to sleep. O.o

3. Today I’m going to… eat ice cream (aka anything from Yogurtland)

4. Who is the person inspired you the most this week? Why? My friend, who is always working on something creative, no matter what!

5. If you can slap anyone today, who would that be? Aggressive drivers in general

6. If you can kiss anyone today, who would that be?  My dad

7. Right now I feel… I need a giant hamster I’ve seen in a Tokyo store the other day!

OK! Your turn! Just copy/paste the Qs bellow at the comment box! I want to see your answers! ❤

The heavy is the root of the light.
The unmoved is the source of all movement.

Thus the Master travels all day
without leaving home.

However splendid the views,
she stays serenely in herself.

If you want to learn how to govern,
avoid being clever or rich.

The simplest pattern is the clearest.
Content with an ordinary life,

you can show all people the way
back to their own true nature.
