Additional information

Lampwork Bead

Lampwork beads are hand crafted with exquisite precision and detail. Early lampwork beads were created with the flame of an oil lamp, hence then name, but today are formed with torches.
These type of beads are handmade by blowing and shaping molten glass over and through a torch, using tools and hand movements to form amazing and intricate designs. This glasswork technique is alive with mesmerizing colors and fascinating details.

The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love, understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.

Japanese Glass Beads

The history of glass bead making in Japan is very short. It started in the Hiroshima Fukuyama area in the beginning of the Showa era (1930s)as a “Mom-and-Pop” business.

Today, Japanese glass beads are the best quality in the World! These tiny treasures were carefully hand made with attention and care! Each and every bead is made to last with precise details and colors! Consistent size, shape and quality!

Rhodium is a precious metal, a member of the platinum family. Rhodium electroplating is used, especially on jewelry, to provide a surface that will resist scratches and tarnish, and give a white, reflective appearance.

Czech Glass Beads

The story of Czech glass beads begins in the 3rd century BCE, when Celtic craftsmen began to produce the first glass beads in Bohemia, now known as the Czech Republic. These beads were of great value for trade and personal ornamentation. These glass beads are still produced in small batches by skilled artisans.

Today, Czech Glass Beads are known over the world for exemplary craftsmanship, vivid color and bead-to-bead consistency.
