Attention ◆ Event Planners and Entertainers ◆ Scam

Not just our physical mailboxes flooded with junk mail, but most of us have super hard time getting through and finding actual, legit emails from real people, due to overwhelming scams and never-ending advertising.

Although, some of them are so obvious that would never fool anyone.. others can be really tricky. I don’t make posts about this subject, however, I really hope this would help out people who are also targeted this way.

Here is the message I recently received through my “booking page”:

Sounds legit, right? Well, Barry Silver is sometimes Barry Grant, Kenneth Coleman (kennethcoleman225@gmail.com), Smith Jean (jean4407@gmail.com) or David Niles (david.niles884@gmail.com), but the list is endless. Although he has engaged to his girlfriend last year, and planning a wedding this month, he somehow had a 10 year anniversary in 2017, and 20 year anniversary a few months later.
He might text you from 813-603-0975 or 612-502-4316 or 650-741-4597 but he will refuse to discuss details on the phone with you. Sometimes he is a sailor or having an aphasia seizure in the hospital. Either him, or his wife. Read more here.

I really hope this helps! Have an awesome weekend! <3

  1. Definitely a different post but important. At least there’s bunch of people who received similar contacts. I just hope those type of emails don’t move to being from fake businesses.
